This smoothie was a real hit at Fit Kids Factory Camp – kids asked for seconds! What a great way to get in some leafy greens and Calcium! Simple ingredients that blend together well. Blueberries are a great choice when picking fruits. They aren’t loaded with sugars, help boost immune system, support brain function, and are great for your eyes. And the Greek yogurt is a great probiotic for our bellies and a great way to introduce healthier yogurt options to your kids. I usually use up those bananas that are too ripened to eat when making this smoothies. Blend and enjoy!
- 1 cup blueberries
- 1 ripened banana
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- ½ cup almond milk or regular milk
- 1-2 tsp. raw honey
- 1 cup ice
- Toss all ingredients into a blender.
- Blend and enjoy!
