Sweet snacks sometimes suck me right in. I am always looking for something sweet that won’t add another dimple to my thigh. These cinnamon roasted chickpeas are a healthier option for sure. Just a bit of cinnamon and sugar and they totally curb that sweet tooth! Enjoy!
- 1 15 ounce can chickpeas - rinsed and drained
- 2 tsp. organic grain sugar
- cinnamon
- coconut oil or olive oil
- Preheat oven 425 degrees
- Rinse and drain chickpeas
- Spread in single layer onto baking sheet
- Coat with coconut or olive oil - roll around so they are evenly coated
- Sprinkle cinnamon on all chickpeas, roll them around so that all sides are coated well
- Sprinkle sugar on all chickpeas, roll them around so that all sides are coated
- Bake in oven 20 minutes or until crispy brown - roll chickpeas around several times during roasting
